The operators work on the safe and stable operation of the wind turbine and the improvement of power generation efficiency by carrying out daily inspections and maintenance of the turbine, as well as the arrangement and analysis of the operational data obtained from monitoring the operational conditions. The operators also establish a system that mobilizes engineers to respond to any contingencies or failures.
The operators’ employees are permanently stationed at offices on the land and regularly visit offshore wind power plants using access boats. For inspection and maintenance of the offshore turbines, not only manpower but also workboats are used to carry out work at a high place. Thus, maintenance work is conducted to ensure safe and stable operation.
